Rutherford County Most Wanted Warrant Program
RCSO’s official links direct readers to the TBI Most Wanted program. TBI curates a statewide fugitive list under its own criteria; it is not a Rutherford County roster of every active warrant. The Sheriff’s local tip line is a different channel.
This page describes the programs and links to official sources only. It does not republish names, photographs, mugshots, or a roster. For a personal warrant question, use the court or Sheriff route instead of a tip channel.
TBI Criteria for Rutherford County Warrant Tips
TBI says its program focuses on specified violent-felony or major Class A drug-trafficking cases, identified people with warrants, and certain escape cases. Approval is required by the TBI director or designee. Those standards make the list a curated subset, not a county search result.
The official TBI page carries current program criteria, safety language, and the public roster.
The TBI program page explains who qualifies and where a tip goes.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Most Wanted
Its roster remains on the official TBI page; no individual entries are copied here.
Rutherford County Most Wanted Warrant Lists Explained
TBI selects entries under its program rules and updates the official page as the agency changes a case. No refresh schedule for an RCSO active-warrant list exists because the Sheriff does not publish one. The county also had no current warrant-amnesty week in the research.
A program page is a snapshot of a curated statewide priority, not the county clerk’s current record.
Note: The TBI page can change as cases change; absence from its curated list does not prove that a local or other warrant does not exist.
Rutherford County Warrant Tip Lines Serve Different Roles
TBI publishes 1-800-TBI-FIND and TipsToTBI@tn.gov for its program. RCSO’s 615-904-3030 number is the Criminal Warrants Fugitive Tip Line for information that may help deputies serve a warrant. Neither channel checks a caller’s own status.
TBI lists rewards on individual program entries; amounts vary. Do not approach or follow anyone shown. Submit information through the official channel and step away.
How to Report a Rutherford County Warrant Tip Safely
Use the program that matches the information. TBI’s statewide page provides its tip number and email. RCSO’s line is for fugitive-location information, not personal status checks. Follow the receiving agency’s current directions.
- Open the official TBI or Sheriff program page and use the contact route listed there.
- Share only what you know with the agency; do not post names or photos to a second roster.
- Do not approach, follow, or detain anyone. Leave contact and enforcement to officers.
- Ask the program directly how to follow up on a tip or reward; no reward is guaranteed by this site.
Key Point: Report through an official agency and step back. The TBI page warns that listed people may be dangerous; do not try to make contact.
Rutherford County Warrant Amnesty Status
The official Sheriff, county, court, and city pages reviewed did not show a current Rutherford County warrant-amnesty or safe-surrender event. A state court-appearance reminder initiative is not the same as local amnesty, and county participation was not documented.
For an existing local warrant, use the issuing clerk or RCSO’s personal-check route. Do not wait for a roundup announcement to resolve a case.
Most Wanted Status Versus a Rutherford County Warrant
A TBI Most Wanted entry meets a program threshold; an active local warrant can exist without appearing there. Rutherford County has no public RCSO active-warrant roster, so the TBI page cannot answer every local court question.
| Feature | Most Wanted List | Active Warrant |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | TBI’s criteria-based statewide program | A court’s unserved or unresolved process |
| Who publishes it | Tennessee Bureau of Investigation | Issuing court or serving agency, subject to limits |
| Public visibility | Official TBI page holds its own roster | RCSO says unserved arrest warrants are not public |
| How to resolve | Contact counsel and issuing authority | Ask court about appearance, bond, or recall |
Rutherford County Has No Public Warrant Roster
The Sheriff’s Criminal Warrants page identifies the division and tip line, but it does not display a searchable name list, result fields, or update date. RCSO says unserved arrest-warrant information is not public.
The Sheriff links MobilePatrol as a supplement, but it has no published local completeness or refresh statement. Verify a personal case through the Sheriff or issuing court rather than treating an app as final.
Rutherford County Most Wanted Warrant Updates
The TBI's published page is the place to verify its curated program entries, and the Sheriff is the source for local procedure. The research found no public countywide active-warrant feed or posted refresh schedule. A page on one service may change before another system reflects the same event.
For a personal status check, use the Warrants lobby process rather than watching program updates. For a tip, use the agency channel that matches the information. Those two routes serve different purposes and neither should be treated as a general warrant-name search.
If You Think a Rutherford County Warrant Names You
If the official program appears to match your situation, contact a lawyer and the issuing authority. Do not use a fugitive tip number to check your own status, and do not approach an agency without learning the court’s instructions. RCSO’s public personal check requires identification at the Warrants lobby.
The local status route is separate from the TBI tip route. For the county’s court and Sheriff contacts, begin with the Rutherford County warrant records overview.
Important: Speak with a lawyer before surrender. Confirm the issuing court and any bond terms through official channels, and do not rely on a public roster as your personal status check.
