This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Rutherford County Warrant Records is a private reference site. We cannot verify whether a warrant exists, recall or clear one, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or advise on a specific case. Those answers must come from the Warrants Office or the court that issued the case.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Choose the local office that maintains the record in question:
- Personal warrant self-check: go to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Warrants lobby with government identification. Unserved arrest warrants are not public, and the office does not confirm them by telephone.
- Missed court date: contact the clerk for the court named on the notice. General Sessions Criminal is 615-898-7831; Circuit Criminal is 615-898-7812; Juvenile Court is 615-898-7972.
- City citation: contact the municipal court that issued it. Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, and Eagleville each handle their own city matters.
- Existing Sheriff's Office record: send a specific request to recordsrequest@rcsotn.org or use the Sheriff's records form. The office says it replies within seven business days; that is a response target, not a promise of production.
- County government record: submit a focused Tennessee Public Records Act request to records@rutherfordcountytn.gov. Identify an existing record rather than asking the county to create a new list.
For a personal self-check, visit the Sheriff's Warrants lobby at 940 New Salem Highway, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and bring identification. The Sheriff's Office main number is 615-898-7777; do not use a phone call as a substitute for the required in-person confirmation. The Fugitive Tip Line, 615-904-3030, is for tips about wanted people, not for checking your own record.
